Spinning Jenny has been supplying kits and materials for tapestries, cross stitch and embroidery work for over half a century. As well as kits from a wide range of suppliers such as DMC Lanarte, Thea Gouverneur and Eva Rosenstand, we also keep kits from more local suppliers such as Bothy Threads and Stitchlets. We have kits covering a wide range of subjects, and to suit all levels from beginner to professional.
A free thread matching service is available and we are always on hand to help with fabric, additional supplies of fabric, canvas or wool/threads and accessories such as frames and magnifying lights. We can also convert photos or artwork into a counted design for either cross stitch or tapestry.
Our tapestry floor is growing with a good range of tramme tapestries and our range of both well known and less well known tapestry producers – including the lovely Fox Tapestries of Wales.
Our stock of knitting and crochet wool is growing, with West Yorkshire Spinners and Cygnet yarns being our main stocks, and we can source and print free patterns for you in-house. We keep a wide range of crochet hooks and knitting needles, plus other basic haberdashery items (including Guttermann thread). We have a good selection of kits, threads and other materials available on our online shop (www.spinningjenny.co.uk) and we also maintain shops via Facebook, Instagram and Google Shopping.
