The market town of Skipton is just 9 miles from Grassington and is well worth a visit.  With a mainline railway station it’s easy to get to and to explore further. A regular street market, Leeds Liverpool canal and a historic 900 year old castle, plus Skipton woods which are beautiful anytime of year.
