Our local Post Office that also sells a fantastic selection of Cards, Gifts, Toys & Stationery. It provides 8 services including Drop & Go, Vehicle Tax, Foreign Currency – Euros only and Travel Insurance.
The Post Office was transformed into Woods, selling toys and books, sweets and tobacco, during the filming of All Creatures Great and Small in 2020 and 2021. A complete frontage change causing confusion to delivery drivers and customers alike! Obviously a very convincing mock up as I had a visitor asking for an ounce of tobacco! We as a family had a bird’s eye view of the filming in the Square from the top floor of the Post Office building which was very exciting.
