Discover Darrowby 2025 (Filming for the Sixth Series)

The 2025 television (6th) series of All Creatures Great and Small was filmed in Grassington, the base for the fictional market town of Darrowby, in March and May 2025.  Victory in Europe is declared but James is facing an increasing difficult life as Siegfried is exceptionally challenging. Filming saw the friendship between Tristan (on leave from the war) and Charlotte (Gaia Wise) from Beauvoir stables grow, Jenny being accepted at a Nurse College in London and introduced us to James’ son Jimmy played by Thomas Riches. Scenes filmed in Grassington include a lame goat and a rescue dog. News of VJ Day broke at the end of episode 6. In Series 6, Darrowby gained a petrol pump, garage, Solicitors office and cafe.
