Walking in Grassington and Upper Wharfedale
Grassington is surrounded by footpaths, lanes and tracks which provide walks for all skill levels. The Dales Way runs for 80 miles from Ilkley to Bowness-on-Windermere in, following mostly riverside paths and passing through the centre of Grassington. Fishing in Grassington and Upper Wharfedale
Famed the world over for its fishing, the river Wharfe is reckoned to be one of the greatest trout rivers in Britain. Licences can be bought from Grassington Post Office. Fly Fishing Lakes and fun fishing for the kids can be found at Kilnsey Park Estate. Tight Lines!
