Stargazing in the Yorkshire Dales

With little light pollution, Grassington is a fantastic place to come and stargaze. whether you are an expert astronomer or new to the hobby. The Yorkshire Dales provides some excellent locations to see galaxies, nebula, planets and meteor showers thoughout the year and is an official Dark Sky Reserve, which will help raise awareness, conserve and celebrate this special quality.

With an annual Dark Sky Festival held every year in Grassington with the National Park, Grassington has embraced the night sky.
