Discover Darrowby 2024 (Filming for the Fifth Series)

The 2024 television (5th) series of All Creatures Great and Small was filmed in Grassington, the base for the fictional market town of Darrowby, in March and May 2024.  Filming saw the emotional return of Tristam back from war duty – and also of James, after being discharged from the RAF.   Richard Carmody, played by James Anthony-Rose eventually departed Darrowby after appearing in great scenes with Tristam. The setting was very much in the war with rationing still in place.
