Grassington's Christmas Festivities
Grassington is a magical place to be at Christmas. With its twinkly lights, independent shops, firelit pubs and cosy cafes, accommodation from self catering to guest houses and hotels, Grassington will give you a warm welcome.
There is so much to do in Grassington throughout November and December. Not only have we festive independent shops; warm and welcoming places to eat and drink and amazing art galleries, but our Christmas events are full of light and festive fun.
Grassington switches on its Christmas Lights at 4pm on Friday 21st November. Our village looks so lovely with the twinkly lights; please do come and join us.
The Grassington Christmas Markets are on Saturday 29th November and Saturday 6th December. No, they’re not the Dickensian Festival of old, but wonderfully warm local Christmas Markets, full of stalls and entertainment and indoor craft stalls at the Town Hall. We’ve moved our Christmas Markets a week earlier than usual, so perfect timing for Christmas Shopping!
Joining the Village Square in being merry and festive is Grassington’s Town Hall, which is home to the Christmas Gift and Craft Fayre. The Town Hall is literally packed full of stalls!
